Biography

Ángel Hernando Yagüe is a Spanish professional photographer born in Campo de San Pedro, province of Segovia, in 1966. He has been a teacher of Image and Sound since 1989. He is currently teaching at the Fray Junípero Serra Institute in Palma de Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. He has a solid academic background in the specialities of Photographic Image, Audiovisual and Graphic Design and Illustration.

He has held several solo and group exhibitions and travelling photographic exhibitions at business, social and cultural events.

The most important award he has obtained throughout his career has been the winner in the black and white category of the first international edition of the FotoSaab competition for professional photographers. He has also received several prizes, runner-up prizes and mentions in various national and international photographic competitions, including the Caminos de Hierro competition, the "Luis Valtueña" international prize and the photography competition for young photographers in the Balearic Islands.

A tireless traveller, he has travelled to many countries in Europe, Asia, America and Africa, capturing with his camera all kinds of images, from the human figure in its environment through urban and natural landscapes to the most personal, creative and conceptual works.

Since his professional beginnings, he has worked on portrait, fashion and interior design photography projects.
