Presentation
The photograph has to do with one of the subjects I documented during my visit to this country to see the effects caused by hurricane Mitch in January 1999. The subject is the street children living in the city of Tegucigalpa.
My intention was to see the conditions in which the “homeless children” were living after the hurricane and to document a little of the work being carried out by an NGO focused on this issue, Casa Alianza.
One of the jobs they do is to send professionals to the streets, who act as educators, to capture homeless children and thus be able to offer them their help.
