The Provincial Historical Archive of Albacete, which depends on the Provincial Delegation of Education, Culture, and Sports, will be hosting our XXIII Luis Valtueña International Humanitarian Photography Award exhibition from Friday 13 November to 4 December, as part of the “For the Right to Health” project.
The exhibition presents the series selected for the 2019 edition, the work of the winner Mohsen Kaboli with his series Surrogate Mother and those of the three finalists, Javier Fergo with the series El último viaje de Zohra Sarrouj, Daniel Ochoa de Olza with Cruzando la última frontera en Tijuana and Santi Donaire with Hijos de la Desmemoria.
Also included is an audiovisual with some photographs and interviews that form part of the project La última frontera (The last frontier), carried out by Juan Medina thanks to the grant he received after winning the 2018 Luis Valtueña Award.
Due to the Special Measures in Public Health for the containment of the expansion of the COVID-19, the precautions in the assembly of the exhibition have been extreme, so the official inauguration has been suppressed and the capacity has been reduced. Please pay attention to the instructions given in the hall to ensure the safety of the public.
