The deadline to apply for the 24th edition of the Luis Valtue\u00f1a International Humanitarian Photography Prize, awarded each year by M\u00e9dicos del Mundo to photographers who, through their images, denounce injustices and abuses, or bear witness to those who fight them, is now open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What’s new in this edition!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This year, taking into account the difficult situation we are going through, especially within the photographic community, we have decided to change the format of our award, which will no longer be a work grant but a cash prize of 6,000 \u20ac<\/strong>, directly to the winner of the contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, thanks to the sponsorship of Leica Camera Iberia, a reference camera, the Q2 (valued at almost 5,000 euros) and a set of 10 recently published photobooks, provided by Editorial La F\u00e1brica, will be added to this amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As if that were not enough, we are launching a new platform that will facilitate the reception and management of applications, and for those who participate, the submission of their projects.
