Organised by <strong>M\u00e9decins du Monde Spain (M\u00e9dicos del Mundo)<\/strong>, the award honours <strong>Flors Sirera, Manuel Madrazo, Mercedes Navarro and Luis Valtue\u00f1a<\/strong>, aid workers from the organisation who were killed while providing medical assistance to civilians in <strong>Rwanda<\/strong> and <strong>Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who can apply<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call is open to individuals aged 18 or over\u2014both professional and amateur photographers\u2014as well as collectives of any nationality working in documentary photography and photojournalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants must submit a series of <strong>five to ten photographs<\/strong> addressing one or more of the following themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Health <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Humanitarian action <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Migration <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Armed conflict <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emergencies <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social exclusion <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human rights violations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this edition, the jury will pay particular attention to underreported stories and issues that have received little media coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Awards and recognition<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 30th edition will distribute <strong>\u20ac12,000<\/strong> in prize money across four winning series:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>First Prize and overall winning project:<\/strong> \u20ac6,000 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Second Prize:<\/strong> \u20ac2,000 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Third Prize:<\/strong> \u20ac2,000 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fourth Prize:<\/strong> \u20ac2,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the <strong>Donostia Human Rights Film Festival<\/strong> will present a <strong>Special Award<\/strong> of <strong>\u20ac1,500<\/strong> to one photograph selected from the four winning series.
